Every day, people are making better choices about how they consume energy. Gresham-Barlow School District is at the forefront of engaging and empowering people to manage their consumption, saving 1.5 million taxpayer dollars every year! That's equivalent to 27 full-time teacher salaries and a 51% reduction in energy costs. Also, we are the recipient of the prestigous 2010 ENERGY STAR Sustained Excellence award with all of our 19 schools ENERGY STAR labeled - another "first in the nation" achievement for Gresham-Barlow!

Empowered school districts engage teachers who in turn engage students in energy conservation. And those students empower their families. There are lots of creative ways to get involved, no matter what role you play in the district.

Gresham-Barlow School District is located near Portland, Oregon and serves approximately 12,000 students.
